KASA Rosa Restaurant was established in 2005 as a family run and individually unique restaurant.

The name is based on an anagram, rather than a deliberate misspelling of the Hickman family initials; Kym, Alan, Sean, Angus and Rose. The whole family work in the business in one capacity or another and that generates a priceless atmosphere!

The head chef, Alan Hickman has trained for over twenty years in continental cuisine. Back in 1999 when the former restaurant Picassos first opened, Alan was at the helm as head chef. Using his excessive talent he was responsible for building up the restaurant and its cliental until he left in 2004.

While Alan worked in a popular Leeds restaurant, Picassos went into decline. 18 months later, the opportunity arose for Alan to move back to Morley and open his own business in the premises of Picassos under the name of KASA Rosa.

Alan will be at the helm of the kitchen accompanied by second chef Tom Brown, providing good home made food prepared just for you.

Supporting Alan in his business venture is Geoff Berry, Geoff is no stranger to Morley been connected to the town since 1973, when he represented Morley Cricket Cub when they won the Heavy Woollen Cup in that year, playing for them for a total of five years on two separate occasions, his last appearance was in the Jack Hampshire Cup final in 1991. Geoff also had a fruit stall on the Market in Morley for a number of years until he retired from the fruit trade in 2004.

Geoff was also involved in Rugby League, been a Referee for over twenty years, officiating at the professional level during the eighties, following his retirement from Refereeing he then worked full time for the RFL involved in the coaching and developing of Referees within the game, and also acted as a Video Referee working on televised matches with SKY television for a number of years
